Psychological immunity and its relationship to depression in a sample Visually impaired teenagers

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the relation between the psychological immunity and depression among a sample of visually impaired adolescents in Minia. The study sample consisted of (40) adolescents (20 male & 20 female) from secondery students. with average age (16,5)  SD (0,506) .The researcher used Beck scale (prepared by Beck (1961) translated by Safwat Farag(2000) and the psychological immunity scale  prepared by (The Reseaecher). The results proved that: There was statistically significant correlation between scores of adolescents on Beck scale  and their scores on psychological immunity scale, the study determined the psychological immunity prevelance on males as(18.58%) and on females as (13.47% ).
