The level of scientific sense features among pre-service science teachers at the faculty of Education Minia University

Abstract

The aim of the current research was to identify the level of scientific sense features among pre-service science at the Faculty of Education, Minia University. To this aim, a scale of scientific sense features consisting of (76) items was developed according to the five-point scale. The scale was administered to a sample comprising (213) male and female pre-service science teachers majoring in (Chemistry, Biology, Basic Education- Science Major).
        The findings of this research indicated a low level of scientific sense features among the research participants, as the percentage of the total score mean reached (72.21%), in addition to the existence of a difference (80%) between the mean of the research participants’ scores and the Hypothetical mean in favor of the Hypothetical mean.
