Teaching Competencies and its Relation to the Trend Towards Teaching Profession on a Sample of Female Graduates from the Kindergarten Department at King Khalid University

Abstract

 The current study aims to identify the relationship betweenteaching competencies and the trend towards teaching profession through identifyingthe level of teaching competencies, the trend towards teaching profession, and predicting the trend towards teaching profession through teaching competenciesamong a sample of female graduates from the Kindergarten Department at King Khalid University.To achieve such goals, two criteria for teaching competenciesand the trend towards teaching profession were used by the researcher 2020. The psychometric properties of these two criteria were verified by applying them to a rationing sample of 50 female graduates from the Kindergarten Department at King Khalid University, in order to ensure the availability of psychometric conditions for them, and to test the validity of the research hypotheses, the final image of the two criteria was applied to another sample of  100 female graduates of the Kindergarten Department
The findings showed the following, first, the high level of the participants' teaching competencies, second, the high level of the participants' trend towards teaching profession, third, there are statistical significant relation betweenteaching competencies and the trend towards teaching profession, fourth, the trend towards teaching profession can be predicted through teaching profession especially via (Lesson Evaluation, and Lesson Planning) .
