Abstract

The study aimed to identify the training needs of science teachers in Al-Azhar Sohag region in light of the trend towards distance education during the Corona pandemic, and to identify the extent to which the training needs of science teachers in the Al-Azhar of Sohag region are different in light of the trend towards distance education during Corona pandemic, according to (years of experience) - Specialization - place of work), the study used the descriptive survey method, and used the questionnaire as a tool for it. The study population consisted of all science teachers in the Al-Azhar Sohag region , who numbered (500 ), and the study sample consisted of (66) science teachers in Al-Azhar Sohag region. The study results refers to the training needs of science teachers in the Al-Azhar Sohag region came in general to a dgree, and the planning of distance education came in the first rank and very wide degree, followed by the evaluation in distance education in the second rank, then the implementation of lessons in distance education In the third rank, then classroom management during distance education in the fourth rank, all of which were to a wide degree, and in light of this, the study presented some recommendations and suggestions.
