Abstract

The study in its major objective is an attempt to identify the effectiveness of the use of flipped learning in science teaching for the development of conceptual understanding among students in the fifth-grade primary .The materials utilized in a book for the student in class ,CD for the student in “energy” unit with activity sheets at home, the teacher's guide for teaching “energy “unit is formulated according to flipped learning, The measurement tool is a conceptual comprehension test in “energy” unit for levels explanation, interpretation and application The research group was chosen from among the fifth elementary male and female students at Abdul Rahman Ismail Hassanein School, Abu Qirqas Educational Administration, A sample of 100 students ,The “energy “unit was taught using flipped learning ,The study has revealed that effectiveness of the use of flipped learning in science teaching for the development of conceptual understanding among students in the fifth-grade primary.
