The effectiveness of using the flipped classroom strategy for teaching art education in developing first year preparatory school pupils’ aesthetic taste and artistic tendencies

Abstract

The aim of the current research was to identify the effectiveness of using the flipped learning strategy to teach art education in developing
first year first year preparatory school pupils’ aesthetic taste and artistic tendencies. The quasi-experimental approach was used in the current studyusingtheflippedclassroomstrategythroughusingthe
experimental-controlgroup < /span>design.Ascaleofaesthetictasteand
another one of artistic tendencies were administered on a sample of (74) first year pupils at Minya Preparatory School for Boys (Mohamed Abu Halaika Preparatory School). The pupils were divided into two groups: control group, which consisted of (38) pupils and studied using the conventional method, and an experimental group, which consisted of (36) pupils and studied using the flipped learning strategy. The findings indicated: (1) the effectiveness of using the flipped learning strategy for teaching art education in developing first year preparatory schoolpupils’aesthetictasteandartistictendenciesand(2)the
effectiveness of usingtheflipped learningstrategyforteaching art
education in developing first year preparatory school pupils’ artistic tendencies.
