A Comparative Study of the TVET System's Recovery from COVID-19 Pandemic and its effects in Australia and Finland, and the Possibility of benefiting from them in Egypt.

Abstract

The current Study seeks to study the negative effects of the pandemic on technical and vocational education and training system in some countries and study the measures taken by these countries to enhance their responses and recovery in order to be able to meet the immediate needs of the workforce and workplaces at the current time and in the post-pandemic stage, within the serious quest to resume a fruitful future.
The study used the comparative approach to describe the most prominent features that characterize the experiences of the selected foreign countries in enhancing the response and recovery of the technical and vocational education and training system to the Covid 19 pandemic, and then analyze and interpret it in the light of contextual factors, and in light of the Resilience-Building Approach to understand the impact of the crisis and the lessons that countries can learn to improve their educational policies and practices after Covid 19 pandemic. The study found a set of distinguishing features and lessons learned from studying the foreign experiences, and this contributed to the formulation of the proposed measures to achieve response to Covid 19 pandemic and recovery from its effects in Egypt.
