Achievement Motivation And Self-esteem And Their Relationship To Academic Achievement Using A meta-analytic Approach.

Abstract

Abstract
The aim of the research is to reveal the relationship between motivation for achievement, self-esteem, and academic achievement using the meta-analysis approach, and to achieve that goal, some questions were put that express the research problem. in search ? Secondly, is there a significant significance of the average size of the total effect of self-esteem on academic achievement in the studies included in the research? In order to answer these questions, the meta-analysis approach was used to synthesize the previous studies and reach more general decisions from them. A sample of the preliminary studies amounting to (114) studies was collected, and those studies were analyzed and examined in the light of a set of criteria, so that the sample of the final studies included (48) study. The data were analyzed using the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3.the results of the research revealed the following: There is a significant effect of the average size of the effect of achievement motivation on the academic achievement of the studies included in the research, and the presence of a significant effect of the average size of the effect of self-esteem on the academic achievement of the studies included in the research. The presence of symmetry and lack of publication bias was also found for the studies included in the research.
