The study in its major objective is an attempt to identify the efficacy of using coupled inquiry cycle of Dunkhase in teaching science to develop elementary students’ some scientific inquiry skills,
Teaching materials are introduced in teacher's guide and an activity notebook's student to teach the unit of "Energy" as a part of elementary grade five of science curriculum after reformulating it according to coupled inquiry cycle of Dunkhase for the experimental group. The instrument of the study a; the test of inquiry skills was post- administered to both study groups of grades five of (60) students, (30) for the experimental group and (30) for the control group. The results of study revealed the effectiveness of coupled inquiry cycle of Dunkhase strategy to teach science to develop some scientific inquiry skills (observation, measuring, predicting, classifying, and concluding)
