Abstract

Spreading environmental awareness the way to sustainable environ-mental development , this will only be achieved clearly adopting the principles and objectives of education for sustainable environmental development in curricula and training teachers on that, preparing teachers has a delicate task that requires insight and contemplation from the colleges of education and Preparing a pioneering teacher for sustainable environmental development a necessary requirement .criticism has been directed at the colleges of education and the College of Education Benha University in particular , the teacher preparation programs it incapable of responding to the requirements of sustainable environmental development, and in response of many Studies of the necessity of developing teacher preparation programs in colleges of education in Egypt and making them appropriate to the requirements of sustainable development in all its. The current research sought to diagnose the reality of the Faculty of Education, Benha University, as one of the colleges of education in Egypt, and its role in preparing a pioneer teacher for sustainable environmental development, and in light of the results field study and the shortcomings it indicated in the college’s teacher preparation programs hinder it from preparing a pioneer teacher for environmental development Sustainable. The research ended developing a Suggested vision to activating the role of the Faculty of Education, Benha University, in preparing the Pioneering teacher for sustainable environmental development.
