Title: The Effectiveness of Using the Fishbone Strategy in Teaching Mathematics on the Development of Mathematical Thinking Skills among Preparatory Stage Students.

The aim of the research is to investigate the effectiveness of using the fishbone strategy in teaching mathematics on the development of mathematical thinking skills among second-grade preparatory stage female students. To achieve this goal, a teacher's guide and students' worksheets were prepared for use during the teaching of the real numbers unit in the mathematics curriculum during the first semester for second-grade preparatory stage female students, using the fishbone strategy. The research employed a quasi-experimental methodology with two groups: one control group that studied the unit using the traditional method and one experimental group that studied the same unit using the fishbone strategy. The research included a mathematical thinking test scale. The results showed the effectiveness of using the fishbone strategy in teaching mathematics in the development of mathematical thinking skills among second-grade preparatory stage female students.
