Verifying the psychometric efficiency of the successful intelligence scale on a sample of students from the Faculty of Education, Minia University

Abstract

The current research aimed to prepare a scale to measure the belief of university students about their successful intelligence. The research sample consisted of (245) male and female students from the Faculty of Education, Minia University, with (95) males and (150) females from the first and fourth grade sample, as the number of students in the division reached The first (136) and the number of students in the fourth year (109), and the number of students in the scientific specialization (116) students, and the number of students from the literary specialization (129), and the average age was calculated by (20.04) years and with a standard deviation (1, 85). This research reached the preparation of a scale to measure university students' belief about their successful intelligence, consisting of (29) items to be answered according to the five-point Likert scale (applies to me completely, applies to me a lot, applies to me to a moderate degree, applies to me to a small degree, does not apply completely). this scale has a high degree of validity, which was calculated by means Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and a high degree of stability, which was calculated by means of Cronbach's alpha, and therefore the scale is valid for use in the Egyptian and Arab environment.
