Utilizing The 2nd Generation of Web Tools in Teaching Science to Acquire the Scientific Concepts of The Preparatory Stage Pupils.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of utilizing "The 2nd Generation of Web Tools in Teaching Science to acquire the scientific concepts of the preparatory stage pupils, Where the teaching and learning materials consisted of: A Teacher's guide and students' activities and workbook to teach the "Atmosphere and protecting the Earth planet" unit prescribed to second-grade preparatory school students within the science curriculum after reformulating it according to use the 2nd generation of web tools and digital learning strategies for the experimental group students, The measurement tool was: A scientific concepts test including in the "Atmosphere and protecting the Earth planet" assigned to second-grade preparatory students in light of the CAPS levels (content knowledge, understanding and application, critical thinking and problem solving); which administered before and after learning using the 2nd generation tools to the two research groups, Experimental and control groups from second-grade preparatory stage students in Matai Educational Administration were assigned, which consisted of (76) students, that were divided into (38) students for the experimental group and (38) students for the control group, The result of the research showed that there are statistically-significant differences among the mean scores of the experimental group and control group in the post-administration of the scientific concepts' test in favor of the experimental group.
