Apropos program in folk art based on active learning to develop the aesthetician taste of skills for the Middle school students

Abstract

ABSRTACT:

The current research aims to explore the effectiveness of a suggested program in the folk art based on active learning on developing the aesthetic taste of the preparatory school students enrolled at Al-Salam Preparatory School for Girls. Sixty students participated in the research and were divided into an experimental group of 30 who received teaching through the suggested program, and a control group of 30 students, who studied through using the regular method of teaching the folk art. To achieve this aim, the researcher designed two instruments: a suggested program in the folk art based on active learning, and an aesthetic taste scale. Results of the research showed a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups students in the aesthetic taste scale at a significance level (Estimated:0.01) favoring the experimental group.
