Abstract

The goal of the study was to create a suggested plan for Beni Suef University's adoption of green education in light of Egypt's national climate change policy for the year 2050. In addition to using a descriptive approach, the study administered a questionnaire to a sample of (318) faculty members. The medical and health sciences sector chose the College of Veterinary Medicine, the engineering sciences and technology sector chose the College of Agriculture, the basic sciences sector chose the College of Sciences, and the human sciences sector chose the College of Education. The study discovered a number of legislative and regulatory mechanisms, like creating a committee or unit within each college connected to the proposed Green Office to oversee green practises on a regular basis and designating sustainable funding sources to support green education initiatives. Physically, this means constructing glass facades on university buildings to let in natural light and turning run-down portions of campus into green areas like safe passageways, large green spaces, and bodies of water. In terms of human resources, educating university staff about green education and training coordinators. sustainability of the environment across all university colleges. Academically, in the realm of education, the plan suggests establishing a connection between the goals of academic programmes and the needs for implementing sustainable green education and utilising suitable teaching techniques for green education. In the field of scientific research, create a research map that identifies the priorities for sustainable development research.
