Common voice disorders in children with cleft lip and palate

Abstract

The study aimed to identify common voice disorders in children with cleft lip and palate. The research was applied to a sample of (17) where the number of children with cleft lip and palate was (17) children, (10) male children, (7) female children who suffer from voice problems, and the number of children aged between (6-12) years who visit the speech clinic at the health insurance at Dakhla Hospital in the New Valley Governorate. The study sample was divided according to the age variable for middle childhood, which numbered (11) children, and late childhood, which numbered (6) children. The current study tools included a scale of voice disorders for those with cleft lip and palate prepared by the researcher.
