Proposed mechanisms for internationalizing scientific research in Egyptian universities in light of the experience of German universities

The current research aimed to come up with proposed mechanisms for the internationalization of scientific research in Egyptian universities in light of the experience of German universities. The research aimed to identify the theoretical foundations for the internationalization of scientific research, monitor the reality of the internationalization of scientific research in Egyptian universities, and identify the foundations of the internationalization of scientific research in German universities and the aspects of benefit. Among them, the researcher used the comparative method, This is in order to analyze and make a comparison between the reality of scientific research in Egyptian universities and German universities. The research reached a set of results about the reality of scientific research in Egyptian universities, including the low rate of mobility of Egyptian student researchers abroad, the low rate of international mobility of foreign students inside Egypt, and a decrease in Financing scientific research in Egyptian universities. Universities also need to develop the infrastructure for scientific research. Universities need to enhance the English language in their studies to support scientific research processes, and there is no dual degree system between Egyptian universities and international universities. The research found a number of proposed mechanisms and the requirements for achieving those mechanisms, including regulatory requirements, financial capabilities, and human resources to internationalize scientific research in Egyptian universities .
