Abstract

The aim of the research was to prepare a program for teaching Quranic texts based on the approach to the syntax of the text for third-year students in the Arabic language department, and to measure its effect on developing the skills of understanding the Quranic text. The experimental method based on the quasi-experimental design with two groups, the control and the experimental, was used. The research group consisted of (30) male and female students from the third-year students in the Arabic language department, other than the exploratory sample. They were divided into two groups, an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of (15) students. To measure the effect of the program on developing the skills of understanding the Quranic text, a questionnaire was designed on the skills of understanding the Quranic text, which was presented to the arbitrators. Then, a list of skills for understanding the Quranic text was reached. Then, the researcher prepared the proposed program in light of the approach to the syntax of the text, then prepared a test of the skills of understanding the Quranic text, presented it to the arbitrators, and then applied it to a exploratory sample other than the research sample. To ensure its validity, reliability, and time calculation, then apply it pre-application, apply the experimental treatment material, then apply the test post-application. The results indicated the existence of a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental group.
