Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effectiveness of using a teaching model based on electronic collaborative learning within Discover "multi-specialization" curriculum to enhance the acquisition of scientific concepts among third-grade students. To achieve this goal, The quasi-experimental method with two groups-experimental and control- was utilized. Teaching and learning materials were designed in this research, including a student's textbook for the second module of Discover "multi-specialization" curriculum, designed according to electronic collaborative Learning principles, as well as a teacher’s guide for the same module The assessment tool used was an objective test measuring scientific concepts in the selected module of the third-grade Discover"multi-specialization" curriculum, aligned with CAPS levels (content knowledge–comprehension and application– problem-solving and critical thinking) The research sample comprised third-grade primary students from Al-Fouli Primary School and Taha Hussein Primary School in Minya City, under the Minia Educational Administration, during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Both the experimental and control groups consisted of (60) students. The research findings indicated that the teaching model based on electronic collaborative Learning is effective in acquiring scientific concepts.
