Effectiveness of Marzano's model in teaching Arabic grammar to develop critical thinking for first-grade secondary students

Abstract

        The current research aims to identify the effect of Marzano's learning dimensions model in teaching Arabic grammar to develop critical thinking skills for first-grade secondary students ,Where the research problem was represented in the weakness of first-grade secondary students in the skills of critical thinking in grammar , This is confirmed by some studies and educational literature and the results of the exploratory test of critical thinking skills in grammar, which was also confirmed by the researcher's work as an Arabic language teacher for more than ten years,, The research tools consisted of testing critical thinking skills in grammar (prepared by the researcher).
         The research found that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of first-grade secondary students in the pre and post measurements to test critical thinking in favor of post-measurement ,This demonstrated the effectiveness of the learning dimensions model in developing the critical thinking skills of first-grade secondary students ,Based on that, recommendations and proposed research were presented in light of the research findings .
