Total quality standards and their role in preparing art education teacher (Descriptive study)

Abstract

The objective of the current research is to clarify the standards of Total quality and its role in preparing the teacher of technical education if he develops programs to prepare the teacher of technical education, and the researcher relied on the descriptive method as the appropriate curriculum for the study.
The research was limited to discussing the Total quality standards and specifically the national academic standards for the sector of technical education colleges and their role in preparing the teacher of technical education.
The results of the research reached a number of recommendations, the most prominent of which are:
- Review the programmes of preparing the technical education teacher and develop a strategy for the preparation of the technical education teacher, in light of the national reference standards for the sector of technical education faculties and the general standards addressed by graduates of technical education colleges (knowledge and concepts - mental skills - vocational skills - general and transitional skills), and the criteria of graduates of specialized programs for technical education faculties (technical education program - art education program) to balance aspects of preparation in light of its importance in preparing the teacher of technical education.
- The need to adopt the draft national standards to ensure the quality of the preparation of technical education teachers in order to contribute to the control of the quality of graduates and artistic production, and knowledge in the plastic arts at the level of the Arab world in general, and in each arab country in particular.
- Taking advantage of the Total quality standards and the national reference standards for the sector of technical education colleges, especially in the construction and design of ceremonies and specialized technical workshops.
