The role of faculty members in the college of basic education in Kuwait in enhancing integrity values among students

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of faculty members in the college of basic education in Kuwait in enhancing integrity values among students, from the student's perspectives. To achieve the objective of this study, a questionnaire of (40) items was developed by the researcher, covering four domains and distributed to a random sample of (803) students at the College of Basic Education.
     Results showed that the role of faculty members in the college of basic education in enhancing integrity values among their students, from the student's perspectives came at a medium degree in all domains and in the total score, and were arranged according to means in the following descending order:  the role of faculty members in enhancing social values of integrity, the role of faculty members in enhancing individual values of integrity, the role of faculty members in enhancing national values of integrity, the role of faculty members in enhancing organizational values of integrity. In addition, the study found that there wereno statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤ 0.05) in the role of faculty members in enhancing integrity values among their students that can be attributed to sex and year of study.
