Self-Efficacy and its relation with life satisfaction among the third prep school students of Minia city

Abstract

The present study aimed at investigating the correlation relationship between self-efficacy and life satisfaction for a sample of the third prep school students in Miniacity, and finding out the differences among the participants in both of self-efficacy and life satisfaction owing to gender. The study sample included (100) students, (50) males, and (50) females.The study used Self-Efficacy scale, that was prepared by Adel El- Adl (2001), life satisfaction scale prepared by Magdi El-Dosuki (1998). Results revealed that there was statistically significant correlation between self efficacy, and life satisfaction. The study reached that there were not statistically significant differences between males and females in self efficacy owing to gender. It also reached that there were not statistically significant differences between males and females in life-satisfaction  except ( social appreciation, and contentment) there were differences at the level (0.05) for the benefit of males.
