International Experiences in Employing Information and Communication Technology in School Administration

Abstract

The current research aimed at presenting some successful international experiences in employing information and communication technology in developing and upgrading school administration processes and tasks. For achieving this objective, the researcher utilized the descriptive-analytical research approach and micro method for reviewing and analyzing some specialized contemporary educational literature. Results concluded by revealing the most popular open and non-open source software around the world that achieves tangible success in developing school administration. Some significant recommendations for applying information and communication technology into school administration at the local level were presented.
