Abstract

The aim of the current research was to use e-learning to teach organic chemistry in acquiring chemical concepts among Agricultural Sciences majors, Faculty of Education, Minia University. The research sample consisted of 40 first-year Agricultural Sciences majors, divided into two groups, an experimental group (N=20) and a control group (N=20). The measurement instrument consisted of a test of chemical concepts, and the experimental treatment was represented in the electronic course prepared by the researcher on some organic chemistry topics. The results of the research showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the chemical concepts post-test. The research concluded the effectiveness of using e-learning to teach organic chemistry in acquiring chemical concepts among Agricultural Sciences majors at the Faculty of Education, Minia University.
