Academic boredom and psychological immunity and their relationship to bullying behavior onuniversity students recovering from the Corona virus (COVID-19)

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the level of academic boredom and psychological immunity ،identifying the relationship between academic boredom and bullying behavior ,identifyingthe relationship between psychological immunity and bullying behavior ,identifyingthe relationship between academic boredom and psychological immunity ,identifying differences in academic boredom, psychological immunity and bullying behavior ،according to gender (male/female). The study was applied to (47) male and female students (27 male, 20 female),of the university students recovering from the Corona virus (COVID-19) in the faculties of (Education, Specific Education, Commerce, Arts and Social Service) - Aswan University,with an average age of (20.04) years and a standard deviation of (2.85),during the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021.The researcher prepared the following toolsto achieve the objectives of the study: the scale of academic boredom, psychological immunity, and bullying behavior against those recovering from the Corona virus (COVID-19). Study resulted in: Students recovering from the Corona virus (COVID-19) are characterized by an increase in both academic boredom and psychological immunity.There is a statistically significant correlation between academic boredom and bullying .There is a statistically significant correlation between psychological immunity and bullying behavior ، while there is no statistically significant correlation between academic boredom and psychological immunity among university students recovering from the Corona virus(COVID-19).There are no statistically significant differences in each of the academic boredom, psychological immunity and bullying behavior were attributed to gender (male/female).
