An Electronic Distance Learning Environment to acquire post – graduate Students at Faculty of Education, Assiut University some Educational Google Apps

Abstract

The research aimed to investigating the effectiveness of an electronic distance learning environment 0n acquiring virtual classroom skills. to answer the research questions and verify its hypotheses, the research adopted the Quasi-experimental method. of one research group with pre - post testing to investigate the effectiveness of the electronic distance learning environment. The research group consisted of (40) post graduate students at Faculty of Education, Assiut University, and the Quasi- experimental processing materials were (pdf files, audio and video recorded videos, and uploading the content to the Moodle environment of Assiut University, which is already used in at Faculty of Education to teach graduate courses), and Research instruments were a in: a cognitive test consisting of (35) objective items imposed electronically on Google Forms, and a note card to measure virtual classroom skills, It consisted of (160) phrases divided into seven basic dimensions: entering the Google Classroom platform, creating a new class, adjusting classroom settings, controlling settings, people tab settings, the settings for the homework tab, the settings for the marks tab. The research resulted in the effectiveness of the proposed electronic educational environment in acquiring virtual classroom skills for postgraduate students in at Faculty of Education.
