Abstract

The study aimed to develop a proposed conception of criteria for granting a license to practice the profession of teaching in general secondary education in Egypt. The study used the descriptive approach. In its theoretical framework, the study dealt with the concept of professional licensing to practice the profession of education, then the importance and reasons for professional licensing to practice the profession of education, - The principle of justice The study also dealt with some advanced international experiences in the field of granting professional licensing for teachers to practice the profession of teaching in general secondary education as in the United States of America and the United Kingdom And Japan, and to achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire consisting of nine axes was used, including criteria for granting a professional license to practice
The results concluded that the criteria for granting a professional license to practice the teaching profession for teachers of general secondary education are very important and must be met by those who accept to work And the study suggested that the professional license be granted according to a number of procedures, such as the candidate successfully passing the exams for granting the professional license to practice the profession of teaching in general secondary education,
