Effectiveness of program Based on Mathematics Habits of Mind for developing a algebraic thinking of students of the first year prep school.

Abstract

The aim of the present research is to recognize the effectiveness of a program based on mathematical habits in developing compulsory thinking skills for pupils in the first grade preparatory.
To achieve this, the following has been prepared: a list of the mathematical habits of mind contained in the Numbers and Reparation Unit for the first grade preparatory to the second semester, the teacher's guide and the pupil's working papers based on a programme based on the mathematical habits of mind, the preparation of a compulsory thought test.
The current research used the Shaba 'a experimental curriculum, through the application of a program based on mathematical habits to a group of middle grade pupils, and the research group consisted of (61) Schoolgirl at Nizla Shadi Preparatory School, divided into two groups, one of which was an officer and consisted of (30) schoolgirl studied in the usual way, and a pilot group consisting of (31) schoolgirl studied through the program based on mathematical habits.
The results reached the effectiveness of the habit-based programme in developing compulsory thinking skills through pupils' grades for the postgraduate test of the treatment of the pilot package studied through the habit-based programme.
