Abstract

The present paper aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a proposed program based on teaching values system and self-awareness to develope cultural identity and educational security among students of the College of Education. The sample consisted of (59) male and female students, The pre- application of the tools of the study(the cultural identity awareness scale and the educational security scale) was done for both groups, then the proposed program was taught to the experimental group only, while the teaching control group using the normal methods, followed by the application of the two research tools posteriorly for the two research groups, and revealed The results of the existence of a statistically significant effect of the proposed program in the development of cultural identity and educational security for the benefit of the experimental group, and in light of the results of the research, the researchers recommended the necessity of including this program within the courses of preparing teachers of the College of Education and providing training courses and workshops for teachers and faculty members specialized in training them on the subject of cultural identity To confirm the moral values and values of belonging and loyalty, to preserve the national identity of their students, and to achieve educational security.
