Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the level of psychological needs and its relationship to social values among teachers of the basic stage in the Tabuk region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Verification of the psychometric properties of the two scales for validity and reliability, The results of the study concluded that there is a high level of psychological needs and social values among teachers, as well as the existence of a positively significant correlation between psychological needs and social values, and that teachers do not differ in psychological needs and social values according to gender, specialization and years of experience. On the results of the study, the study came out with some recommendations, including supporting and encouraging teachers to maintain the high level they have in psychological needs and social values.
