Strategic planning to improve university education

Abstract: The aim of the current research is to improve university education by taking advantage of the strategic planning method, and to come up with some proposals that can contribute to improving university education. Teaching at the Universities of Assiut and Minya. The results of the research found that there are some strengths in university education, the most important of which are: The university has postgraduate programs, the presence of a university website on the Internet, the presence of a center for developing the capabilities of faculty members, leaders and their assistants in the university, and there are some weaknesses, the most important of which Brain drain from Egyptian universities to other countries. The number of research papers published by faculty members in international journals is limited. There are also some opportunities available in the external environment for university education, the most important of which are: the establishment of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank project, the use of the Internet as a means of broadcasting and publishing the results of scientific research, and there are some external threats surrounding university education, the most important of which are: the high financial cost of publishing scientific research for researchers, the high density Students in universities, the weak appreciation of the state for scientists and scientific research, and the research also reached some proposals for improving university education.
