The aim of the research is to identify the effect of using the mathematics laboratory in teaching the geometric unit for the sixth grade students in language schools in Minia city on achievement . The research sample consisting of (89) students from the sixth grade distributed into two groups .one of them is an experimental group consisting of (46) students studied using the mathematics laboratory, and the other is control group consisting of (43)students studied with the usual method .prescribed in the first semester and the research tools were (a teacher's guide, laboratory activities, and students' worksheets for the geometric unit assigned to the sixth grade students, the first semester in language schools - achievement test ),

and the results of the research showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of Significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group that studied the geometric unit prescribed using the mathematics laboratory

And the scores of the control group that were studied using the usual method in the achievement test in favor of the experimental group.
