Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyse the internal environment for the digital transformation of the general secondary education system, to identify its strengths and weaknesses. It is to include the internal environment (teacher, curriculum and courses, evaluation and tests, material possibilities, school administration). According to the descriptive approach data were, collected, classified, analized and used in building the research tool applied to a sample of general secondary education teachers in Minia governorate. The research reached some of the strengths of the digital transformation of the general secondary education system, including (training teachers to use tablets and smart board, launching electronic educational platforms, providing a tablet device for each general secondary school student, Multiple sources of teachers' access to information, such as: the Internet, textbooks and electronic library), The research revealed some weaknesses (lack of interest in computer subjects, separation of curriculum from future science and labour market, fluctuation in decisions related to how students perform electronic or paper tests, Lack of interest in the opinions of teachers in updating the curriculum).
