The role of the dimensions of administrative empowerment in achieving competitive advantage for educational institutions in light of the Singapore experience “a theoretical study”

This study aimed to: monitor and clarify the characteristics of education administration in Singapore, identify Singapore’s experience in applying administrative empowerment in educational institutions, and provide the necessary recommendations to activate some dimensions of administrative empowerment in educational institutions in light of Singapore’s experience in order to achieve competitive advantage. It relied on the descriptive and analytical approach. The study tool was the personal interview: the researcher conducted unstructured personal interviews for leaders in some schools in the Abu Qurqas administration in Minya Governorate to determine the dimensions of the research problem on the ground. The study presented several recommendations, including: recognizing the capabilities of teachers and providing opportunities to empower them by participating in leadership roles. Real, and focus on the role of school leaders in establishing a culture of empowerment and encouraging teachers, benefiting from the distributed leadership style applied by Singapore, applying the various accounting mechanisms in place in Singapore, and developing a good and accurate system for teachers’ incentives and rewards.
