Subjective Vitality and its relation with Psychological Resilience among Students of the College of Education, Minia University

Abstract

The study aimed at trying to discover the nature of the relationship between subjective vitality and psychological resilience for a sample of the education students in Minia University, and finding out the differences among the participants in both of subjective vitality and psychological resilience owing to gender,The study sample included (220) students,(110)males , and (110)females, The study used the descriptive correlational comparative approach , The study in cluded a subjective vitality scale that was prepared by Ryan&Frederick (1997), translate by Abdulaziz Salem , resilience scale that was prepared by Wagnild (2009)translate by Shaimaa Ezat and Eman Nasry . Results revealed that there was statistically significant correction between the degrees of subjective vitality and the degrees of psychological resilience. The study reached that there were not statistically significant differences between males and females in subjective vitality owing to gender. It also reached that there were not statistically significant differences between males and females in psychological resilience.
