Abstract

The aim of the research: to build a proposed strategy for teaching grammar rules based on electronic educational games, and to determine its effect on developing grammatical thinking skills in the fifth grade of primary school. The research used the experimental method based on the real design with two groups, control and experimental. The researcher took the following steps: determining the list of grammatical thinking skills, preparing the grammatical thinking test, then building educational electronic games for grammar lessons, then preparing the student book and teacher's guide, then applying the pre-measurement tool to the research group, and assigning the research group to two groups, one of which is experimental and the other randomly control. Teaching was done with the experimental treatment according to the proposed strategy of electronic educational games, and conducting the appropriate statistical treatment, which showed: - The performance of the experimental group students improved - significantly - compared to the performance of the control group students in the post-application of the grammatical thinking skills test, and this is supported by the presence of a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the students of the control and experimental groups in the grammatical thinking skills test in the post-measurement in favor of the students of the experimental group; Which indicates the effectiveness of using the electronic games strategy using digital platforms in developing some grammatical thinking skills for fifth grade primary school students.
