The relative contribution of perceived academic stress in predicting the emotional stability among a sample of university students

Abstract

The current study aimed to Identity The relative contribution of Academic Stress to the emotional stability of a sample of university students, to achieve such goals, the academic stress scale (prepared by Zainab Abdel-Aleem Badawy, 2014) and the emotional stability scale for university students (prepared by Ramzy Muhammad Hassan Attia, 2014), The psychometric properties of these tools were verified by rationing them on an exploratory sample of (100) male and female students from the students at the Faculty of Education, Minia University. It consists of (200) male and female students. Data were collected and appropriate statistical treatments were performed, the findings showed first, the participants high level on the Academic Stress variable and second, the participants high level on the emotional stability variable. Third, there are a statistically significant negative correlation at (0.01) level between academic stress and emotional balance among university students. Fourth, the emotional stability can be predicted through Academic Stress among a sample of university students
