The Effectiveness of aSuggested Unit Using Electronic Package to develop Health Concepts for secondary school students

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the effectiveness of a unit developed using the electronic Backage to develop health concepts for secondary school students through the “Health and Illness in the Balance” unit. To achieve its objectives, the electronic Backage was designed to determine the effectiveness of its use and prepare a health concepts test in light of the CAPS* levels, which are: functional knowledge, Understanding, applying, linking learning to life, critical thinking, and problem solving. The current research used the one-group semi-experimental approach with pre-testing, then teaching, post-testing of the research variable, and deferred post-testing to measure the impact. The research group consisted of (34) female students from the second year of secondary school in the Minya Educational Administration. At Damshaw Hashem comman Secondary school, The results of the research revealed the effectiveness of the unit developed using the electronic Backage to develop health concepts for secondary school students. Based on the results of the research, the research recommended using the electronic Backage due to its effectiveness in the unit developed to develop health concepts according to the CAPS levels.
